Dixieland Jazz for dementia patients

A humbling and rewarding experience to play for the patients and staff in London’s Royal Free Hospital dementia ward. We hope we brought back some memories of old tunes. We even had time for a chat over a cup of tea and some tasty cakes provided by the staff.

Thanks to Danielle for capturing our warm up. We had to take the bell of the sousaphone for fear of bringing the house down, literally. Luckily we were able to replace it for the performance.
